The Human Brain and Mental Illness

Many within the Scientific Community regard the Human Brain as the most complex object within the universe.  The brain contains approximately 100 billion cells called neurons that communicate utilizing electrical and chemical signals.  When there is a disruption in the communication between cells, frequently caused by an imbalance in the brain chemicals (neurotransmitters), mental illness may occur.
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
